Two weeks off from work…loved it!

Finished my detox yesterday and it’s crazy but TMI warning: I’ve been struggling to go to the bathroom since then.
I’m so bummed…

Pastor Justin left tonight for home.
Hopefully he’ll have a safe flight and restful layover in Atlanta.

Youth group retreat was so much fun…

For the past three or four months, people from all over have been calling my cell phone asking for a woman named Sherry.
The first couple of times, I didn’t really mind – considering sometimes people can get the wrong number.

The situation started to really make me nervous when Nordstrom and Macy’s called me looking for her.
I finally called Verizon to see what they could do about it.
They couldn’t do anything with just a first name.

So, this woman, has been giving my number to department stores, doctor’s offices, dentists, and even some of her friends!
I’m thinking, “I could be a victim of identity theft!”

About five minutes ago, another woman called asking for Sherry.
When she realized she had the wrong number, she quickly apologized and hung up.
I promptly called her back to see if she was in fact, looking for Sherry.
She was.  So, asked what her relation was to Sherry and explained my situation.

Turns out, it was her mother!!!

By the end of our conversation, we realized that we do have the same number…just different area codes.
Sherry used to live in Seattle, and recently moved out of state.
She got a new number very similar to mine, with the difference of only one number.
Sherry’s mom will let her know about the phone number issue and by the grace of God, today will be the last day someone calls me asking for Sherry.
