  • Last night's Applebee's isn't going well with my system right now.
I feel like I'm gonna throw up.
    Just letting y'all know.

  • Wowzers!!!
So, I just got off the phone with a girl from CA who works at one of my company's fowarding/trucking companies.
I had to call her to ask her a question - she's a really nice lady, don't really know how old she is, but she's somewhere in the 20's.

Anyway, she sounded tired when she answered the phone, so I asked if she was tired.
Immediately, she says, "Aunna-shi, do you have a boyfriend?" o.O
    "No..."

It turns out, she has a dong-seng she wanted to hook me up with...haha!!

    And so goes the conversation...
    "How old are you?"
    "23."
    "Oh, that's perfect!  He's 26."
"Hehe...oh, okay.  But I just broke up with someone last year..."
"Oh...that's too bad.  Anytime you want a boyfriend, just give me a call!"

    Muahaha!!!

  • Drink 8 servings of water a day.

In the past, my attempts to drink 8 - 8 oz. servings of water a day always lead to complete failure.
Never had a water bottle, didn't like fountain/tap water, there was no access to drinkable water, etc.

You read articles on the many wonderful benefits of water and you set your goal - 8 servings.
You go out, you buy a nalgene, you take a few gulps and feel proud to be on your way to a healthier, hydrated body.
A few hours pass - your nalgene's still full, your arms are tired of carrying a big plastic bottle that doesn't fit in the water bottle holder on the side of your backpack.
You wake up the next day, pour out the stale water from the day before to make room for the fresh water you plan to drink that day...only to dump it all out the next day...and the next...and the next...

"What happened to your goal?"  you might ask yourself.
It disappeared every time you found yourself standing at a sink pouring out water you should have drank.

So, to make the long story short...I came up with a plan to actually get all the servings of water I wanted, without it being much of an effort.

    Use a straw.
I'd sit at my desk all day and watch my water bottle sit there too.
Tried using a straw, which comes in handy while driving, but I didn't get close to even 1/3 of my goal.

    Use a cup.
Every time I pour water into a cup, I see a huge drop in the water level and that makes me proud.
And for some weird reason, seeing a full cup of water makes me want to drink it.  And seeing an empty cup, makes me want to fill it.  And so goes my routine of drinking water - full it up, drink it all, fill it up again.

By the end of my work day, I consume at least 48 oz. water and still going strong.  The other day, I reached my goal.  I drank just a little over 64 oz. of water in a span of 10 hours.

The only bad thing about drinking so much water is having to go the bathroom all the time.  But what better reason to get out of the office and get a little exercise than walking to the restroom - every move counts.
